Producers


Seagrass: are a flowering plant from four plant families that grow in the marine saline environment. They are called sea grasses only because most species superficially resemble terrestrial grasses of the Family poaceae.




Plankton: are any drifting organism that inhabits the pelagic zone of oceans, seas, or bodies of fresh water. It is a description of life-style rather than a genetic classification. They are widely considered to be some of the most important organisms on Earth, due to the food supply they provide to most aquatic life.



Algae: Algae is a simple plant, seen throught the study of botany. It has bacteria characteristics and some are even concidered Protists. They are still concidered plants. The Protists are concidered more animal like. It is a single celled organism with its plant like features underwater.
